About CollarNcuffs & MissBonnie
Twenty years of community, more than 1,800 articles, four decades in the lifestyle, and still plenty to say.
The CollarNcuffs Story

CollarNcuffs was a female-led Femdom community established in 2006, built around Female Domination, consensual power exchange, education and the belief that women should be able to exercise their authority without having to justify it to anyone.
Founded by myself, MissBonnie, alongside my primary submissive partner, oz, and supported by active members of the lifestyle, CollarNcuffs was never intended to be just another generic kink platform. We had a purpose, a philosophy and a rather firm belief that knowledge shouldn't come with a price tag attached.
For 20 years, CollarNcuffs provided a place for people to learn, explore, exchange ideas and develop a better understanding of the Femdom lifestyle. We believed in informed power exchange, female authority, respect, consent and education. Not a bad foundation for a community, really!
Unfortunately, the ever-changing landscape of adult-content legislation and the challenges of complying with requirements across different jurisdictions eventually made continuing the site impractical. CollarNcuffs closed in April 2026.
Was I sad to close it? Of course. Twenty years is a considerable chunk of one's life, and a community is about much more than a collection of web pages.
But one thing particularly bothered me: the thought of all that information simply disappearing.
So, while the original community has closed its doors, I have decided to bring as much of its educational material as possible across to Blogger. This isn't an attempt to recreate the old site or resurrect the community. It's about preserving the knowledge, resources and experience accumulated over two decades.
The old CollarNcuffs may have hung up its collar, but its resources aren't quite ready for retirement!
Women’s Voices Lead
CollarNcuffs was proudly female-focused and created to support women in positions of dominance.
We believed that women should have spaces where their authority, experiences and voices were valued, rather than having to fight for a place at the table. After all, if a woman is going to wear the crown, she ought to have somewhere to put it!
Whether you were a curious beginner exploring Female Domination, an experienced Domme refining your leadership, part of a female-led relationship, or a submissive who appreciated structure, etiquette and a healthy dose of female authority, CollarNcuffs aimed to offer something useful.
We welcomed people who wanted to learn, communicate and explore the lifestyle thoughtfully.
Female Dominants were valued, respected and prioritised. That wasn't an accidental feature of the community; it was part of the point.
Education Without Barriers — A Hill I'll Happily Stand On
Education has always been one of my strongest beliefs.
During its lifetime, CollarNcuffs accumulated more than 1,800 articles, structured eLearning programmes and knowledge shared by people involved in the lifestyle. All our learning programmes were free.
Yes, free. No secret membership tier. No expensive course you had to purchase before learning the basics. No suggestion that you needed to empty your wallet before you could learn how to navigate power exchange responsibly.
I have never believed that useful lifestyle education should be kept behind paywalls simply because someone loves differently or chooses a relationship outside conventional expectations.
Power should be informed. Authority should be educated. Knowledge should be accessible.
Being Dominant doesn't automatically make someone knowledgeable, any more than owning a riding crop makes someone an expert in its use. Experience matters, education matters, and understanding the responsibilities that come with power matters.
I believe people should have access to information that helps them make informed decisions about their relationships, their boundaries and their chosen lifestyle.
And so, rather than watch all that material disappear when CollarNcuffs closed, I've decided to preserve as much of it as possible here.
It will take time. There is a lot of material to move, and I have only two hands and a finite amount of patience for repetitive tasks! But I'll get there.
Some information will be older, and links may no longer work. Readers should use their own judgement and check current guidance where safety, health or legal matters are concerned.
This is an archive of knowledge, experience and history. If something here helps you understand yourself a little better, avoid a mistake, ask a better question or become a more thoughtful Dominant or submissive, then the effort will have been worthwhile.
And that, rather than making money from someone's curiosity, has always been the point.
Now, About Me — MissBonnie
Well, you've read about the site. Now for the woman behind it.
I'm MissBonnie, a lifestyle Domina based Australia. I've been actively involved in my chosen lifestyle for more than 40 years, and my Darlin, oz, has been by my side for more than 30 of those years.
That's a lot of living, learning, experimenting and discovering what makes people tick. I imagine I've picked up a thing or two along the way!
First things first: I am a lifestyle Domina, not a professional Domme. Please don't offer to pay me for my time. I'm not running a commercial service, and I have no plans to turn my personal life into a business transaction.
My interest in Femdom comes from the lifestyle itself, the connections it creates and the remarkable things that can happen when people trust one another enough to explore beyond the ordinary.
My Style of Domination
Femdom isn't a one-size-fits-all business, and neither am I.
My interests range from the gentle and sensual to the severe and demanding. I enjoy the mental and emotional aspects of domination just as much as the physical ones. There is something particularly rewarding about a submissive who willingly hands over control, knowing that the trust they place in me is a responsibility I take seriously.
For me, the interesting work often happens beneath the surface.
We all have defences, assumptions, insecurities and carefully constructed ideas about who we are. Sometimes submission provides the opportunity to look beyond those layers and discover something unexpected. The process can be challenging, cathartic, illuminating and occasionally surprising for everyone involved.
I enjoy that exploration: the conversations, the discoveries, the moments when something finally clicks, and the quiet satisfaction of watching a submissive grow in confidence and self-understanding.
Of course, not everyone needs a philosophical expedition into the depths of their psyche. Sometimes a submissive simply needs clear direction, a little discipline and a reminder that no, they don't actually run the household!
I have a firm side, and I enjoy traditional corporal discipline. Leather straps and whips made to my own exacting specifications have a particular place in my collection. I also enjoy sensual, less intense forms of corporal play, where the objective is pleasure, release and leaving a submissive thoroughly relaxed and euphoric rather than corrected.
I'm quite capable of both. It would be terribly boring if I weren't!
I believe in being fair but firm, respecting limits and understanding the difference between challenging someone and simply being unreasonable. If a submissive genuinely wishes to explore beyond familiar boundaries, I can be empathetic and encouraging, while making sure that any such exploration is consensual and appropriate.
Authority is not an excuse to stop thinking. In fact, I'd argue that it requires rather more thought, not less.
The People Who Interest Me
I've never been particularly impressed by a pretty face, a perfect body or an impressive list of previous experiences. Those things might catch the eye, but they don't tell me very much about the person underneath.
I'm interested in character, honesty, communication, curiosity and the way someone treats other people.
Experience is useful, certainly, but a beginner who is willing to learn can be far more interesting than an experienced player who believes they already know everything. We all have something to learn. Anyone who tells you otherwise probably needs to learn that first!
I appreciate people who understand that good play involves consideration for everyone involved. I have a particular fondness for dynamics where people can share experiences comfortably and respectfully, including F/fm and F/mm arrangements.
I'm not looking for a life partner. I already have one, and I adore him with all my heart. Oz has that position rather thoroughly covered!
I am, by nature and history, polyamorous, and I have enjoyed the variety and connections that additional relationships and play partners can bring.
I have a slightly unconventional way of describing how I view play partners: rather like library books.
You borrow a book, enjoy it, take care of it and return it to the shelf so someone else can enjoy it too. There is absolutely no need to scribble your name across every page or insist that nobody else may ever read it!
Naturally, the people involved need to be happy with the arrangement. Communication, honesty and mutual respect are rather important ingredients. I'm talking about consensual non-monogamy, not a free-for-all with the emotional intelligence of a shopping trolley.
At present, however, I am on hiatus from polyamory while I mend a bruised poly heart and take a little time for myself.
Will I return to it? Meh. ¯\(ツ)/¯
Perhaps. Perhaps not. Perhaps the right person will appear at the right time and make me reconsider. Life has a habit of ignoring our carefully prepared plans, doesn't it?
For now, I'm content to leave that particular door unlocked without standing on the doorstep waiting for someone to walk through it.
A Little About Contacting Me
I'm generally polite, approachable and considerate, and I expect the same courtesy in return. Being Dominant doesn't mean I spend every waking moment barking orders, and being approachable doesn't mean I have no boundaries.
I am always open to friendship, conversation and exchanging ideas. If you're stuck, lost or unsure about something in the lifestyle, I'm happy to help where I can.
You don't need to arrive with twenty years of experience, an impressive collection of toys or a perfectly rehearsed introduction. A little honesty, good manners and a willingness to communicate will get you much further.
I can't promise to have every answer, but I can usually offer a perspective, share some experience or point you towards information that might help.
And if you've arrived here because you remember CollarNcuffs, welcome back. If you're new, welcome aboard. Have a look around, explore the archive and see what you find.
You might learn something. You might disagree with something. You might even find yourself thinking about a familiar subject in an entirely new way.
That's the beauty of learning.
The original CollarNcuffs community may have closed, but I'm not quite finished sharing what I've learned.
Welcome to my corner of the Femdom world.
MissBonnie
